The Mountains

For a long time, I thought I was more of a beach person. But after spending three months in the mountains last year, I finally realized I was a mountain person.
When I’m in the mountains, I feel good and I have the impression that all the chaos happens in the valley and that up there, nothing can happen.
For me, the mountains are the most peaceful place in the world. I don’t know what job I’d like to do in the future, or what my life will be like, but I’m sure I’ll spend a lot of time in these mountains.
There’s something I need to find up there and I think it will help me on my journey to find peace with myself.
Every time I go up there, to any part of the mountains, I’m impressed by the beauty and wildness of the environment, no matter how much people try to adapt to it. It’s impossible to control them. And that’s what makes it so beautiful.
You have to deal with the mountains as they are, otherwise it’s impossible to embrace life there.
I took a few photos during my stay in February. First, I went to Sert-Chevalier to babysit for a week. Then I went to Pelussin. It’s a little town where my grandmother used to live. It’s in the Alps, but at a lower altitude. Then I went to Les Saisies, a ski resort. It was very pretty, and when you’re there, you can really feel the energy they give off.
So go and see for yourself, because no words can describe the energy and beauty you feel or see when you’re there!!
